One of the fundamental principles underpinning the care provided by ProActive-Solutions (GB) Ltd is the normality that we strive to create in the home where the young person will live. This provision of a homely, family atmosphere that may have been missing in the life of the young person and which is so critical to the process of rebuilding that person's life extends to the way in which staff are recruited and allocated.


Staff are recruited on the basis of their experience, qualification and training as would be expected and all are subject to rigorous reference checks together with enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosures. However, attention is also given to their personality, attitude and general demeanour in order to ensure that each individual will have not only the necessary qualifications and experience but that they will be able to compliment this with an in depth understanding of the difficulties that may have been faced by those people they will work alongside together with a belief in, and a commitment to, the philosophy of care on which ProActive-Solutions (GB) Ltd is founded.


In this way can we be sure that everyone involved is working towards the same goal and, most importantly, that the methods used to achieve that goal are consistent and in keeping with the companies philosophy of care of providing the environment and conditions in which the young person in our care is given the best possible chance to turn their life around for the better.


ProActive-Solutions (GB) Ltd is committed to the principle of training for it’s staff being an ongoing issue with each individual given the opportunity to pursue appropriate external courses where available together with "in house" training with qualifications to NVQ standards. In addition, certain areas which are regarded as compulsory, I.E Basic food hygiene, first aid, child protection etc. are also updated as required.
