Placements for both male and female young people are considered. All placements with ProActive-Solutions (GB) Ltd are subject to risk assessment and the availability of suitable accommodation at the point of referral and taking into account appropriate separation of the sexes where necessary.
In terms of ongoing contact the expectation is that social workers will wish to maintain contact with the young person they have placed together with liaison with staff and management. This is seen as beneficial for the young person by ProActive-Solutions (GB) Ltd and the social worker will be encouraged to maintain telephone contact and/or personal visits to the unit throughout the person's stay. The young person's contact with other parties such as family will also be encouraged where this is deemed appropriate and has been agreed.
ProActive-Solutions (GB) Ltd employs robust procedures to ensure that it not only complies with, but is kept abreast of new and changing legislation in respect of the provision of residential care services and all it's associated activities. The company is registered with, and inspected by the Commission for Social Care Inspection. ProActive-Solutions (GB) Ltd is also approved and inspected by West Midlands Child Care Consortium and a member of ICHA (Independent Children's Homes Association).
